Cantors welcome the congregation to Mass, announce the music, lend support to the congregation for the hymn and Mass parts, and lead the psalm and Gospel acclamation.

The Cantor program is comprised of individuals both professional and amateur alike feel called to serve God’s people in this vital and unique role.

Requirements include a pleasant singing voice, some music reading ability and willingness to prepare music on one's own. Training is provided for cantors as needed. Scheduling is flexible and can be adjusted to accommodate work and family circumstances.
